Abstract EN

The research aims to identify the psychological capital of primary school teachers and to identify the significance of the statistical differences of the psychological capital scale according to the gender variable, and the current study is determined by teachers working in government primary schools (Al Karkh Al-Awal) in Iraq, Baghdad governorate center for the academic year (2020-2021) m.

the current research sample reached (100) male and female teachers, and the psychological capital measure was applied to the research sample of (100) male and female teachers, and the psychometric characteristics of the psychological capital scale were extracted.

the results also showed that the arithmetic mean of the sample as a whole is higher than the hypothetical mean and statistical significance, and this means that the individuals of the sample as a whole have the psychological capital for the first goal, and that there are statistically significant differences between the mean of males and females and in favor of females according to the sex variable for the second goal.

in light of the conclusions of the current study, the recommendations came as follows : 1.

focusing on the promoters by making them aware of the topic of psychological capital and its impact on their performance.

conducting a joint workshop between the first grades teacher department and the ministry of education in order to find appropriate solutions to the problems of teachers who have a weakness in performing their educational tasks.

conducting a study on psychological stress and its relationship to the work family conflict among teachers 2.conducting a study on psychological stress and its relationship to a number of variables (social level, age, economic level) among teachers.
