Emotions and the ways in which they are expressed are psychological variables that play multiple roles in human life, and basic emotions are part of our evolutionary heritage, and they have an adaptive value, and they have general and comprehensive facial expressions and distinctive physiological characteristics, and these emotions are necessary for motivation, knowledge and action, and play a pivotal role in regulating the job performance of the personality, and from this point of view, the research aims to identify : 1- the basic emotions of the employees 2- the significance of the differences in the basic emotions of the employees according to the gender variables (males - females) 3- the significance of the differences in the basic emotions of employees according to the years of service (less than five years, more than five years).

for the purpose of achieving the objectives of the research, the researcher built a basic emotion scale after reviewing previous theories and studies.

1- the presence of basic emotions among the employees.

2- there are differences between males and females in basic emotions and in favor of females.

3- there are differences in the number of years of service (less than five years -more than five years) in favor of a category of less than five years.

in light of the achieved results, the researcher came up with a number of recommendations and suggestions.
