Arabic Abstract

هدفت هذه الدراسة للتعرف إلى دور تطبيقات الترجمة الإلكترونية في إكساب الإعلاميين الأردنيين مهارات الترجمة.

ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة اتبع الباحث المنهج الوصفي المسحي، وفي ضوء عدم وضوح حجم مجتمع الدراسة، وعدم وجود بيانات رسمية في هذا المجال، تم الاعتماد على عينة "قصدية" من (130) إعلاميا يعملون في أقسام الترجمة الإعلامية والتحرير في مؤسسات صحفية وإعلامية أردنية، حيث وزعت عليهم الاستبانة محكمة بطريقة يدوية.

وتوصلت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من النتائج، وهي: إن تطبيقات الترجمة الإلكترونية أسهمت بدرجة مرتفعة في إكساب الإعلاميين الأردنيين مهارات الترجمة حيث جاءت بدرجة مرتفعة بلغت (2.66) وإن استخدام تطبيقات الترجمة الإلكترونية كان له أثر إيجابي في الممارسة المهنية للإعلاميين الأردنيين تجلى في عدد من الممارسات والمهارات المهنية، التي جاءت بدرجة مرتفعة بلغت (2.61).

وإن تطبيقات الترجمة الإلكترونية أسهمت بدرجة مرتفعة في إكساب الإعلاميين المهارات الرقمية، التي جاءت بدرجة مرتفعة بلغت (2.70).

وإن مشكلات الترجمة الإلكترونية في العمل الإعلامي متعددة ومتشعبة حيث أظهرت الدراسة الحالية بعضا منها، مثل: عدم وجود تطبيقات متخصصة لهذه الغاية، وإن الترجمة الإلكترونية لا ترتقي إلى الأداء البشري، ولا تغني عن التخصص في الترجمة، حيث جاءت النتائج بدرجة متوسطة بلغت (2.26).

English Abstract

This study aimed to identify the role of electronic translation applications in providing Jordanian media professionals with translation skills.

in order to achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher followed the descriptive survey method, and in light of the lack of the size of the study population and the lack of official data in this field, an “intentional” sample of (130) journalists working in the media translation and editing departments in Jordanian press and media institutions was relied upon.

the questionnaire was distributed to them manually.

the study reached a set of results the most important of which show: the electronic translation applications contributed to a high degree in acquiring the Jordanian media professionals' translation skills, as it came with a high score of (2.66).

and that the use of electronic translation applications had a positive impact on the professional practice of Jordanian media professionals, which was manifested in a number of professional practices and skills, with a high score of (2.61).

and that electronic translation applications contributed to a high degree in acquiring digital skills by media professionals, with a high score of (2.70).

and that the problems of electronic translation in media work are multiple and complex, as the current study showed some of them, such as: the lack of specialized applications for this purpose, and that electronic translation does not rise to human performance and does not replace specialization in translation, as the results came with a medium score of (2.26).
