The study aimed to identify the measurement of educational loss in acquiring English language skills for public education students in the intermediate stage before and during the covid-19 pandemic from the teachers' point of view, and to achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the descriptive analytical approach, as well as the following study tool “the questionnaire”, The study sample consisted of (282) male and female teachers of English for public education for the intermediate stage in the Tabuk city and governorates, and they were chosen by the simple random method.
Among the most important results of the study: that the educational loss in English language skills before the Covid 19 pandemic reached the arithmetic mean of the total score (1.77), and the relative weight was (35.4% ) and with a very low degree of approval, that the educational loss in English language skills during a pandemic Covid 19 the arithmetic mean of the total degree reached (3.36), the relative weight reached (72.5% ), with a high degree of approval, and that the quality of the new teaching method reached the arithmetic average of the total degree (3.14), the relative weight reached (62.8% ), and with a medium approval degree.
And the ence of statistically significant differences (α > 0.05) in the teachers' evaluation scores for educational loss in English language skills among public education students in the intermediate stage (before) the Covid 19 pandemic with regard to (gender, educational qualification, specialization) and the presence of significant differences Statistical for the two variables (age, years of experience, ) before the Covid 19 pandemic, there are no statistically significant differences at the level (<0.05α) in the educational loss in English language skills among public education students in the middle stage during the Covid 19 pandemic due to the following demographic variables: (Type of sex, age watt experience), While there were statistically significant differences for the following demographic variables: (educational qualification, age, specialization).
