This study aims to identify the role of investment in human capital in enhancing financial performance of economic companies, and to achieve this a questionnaire was designed and distributed in the sonatrach company-Tebessa-, where the spss-20 statistical package was used to process data and test hypotheses.

the current study concluded a set of results, the most important of which are: investing in human capital has a positive impact on enhancing financial performance of the sonatrach company, and that the company is keen to attract individuals with knowledge, skills and high experience in order to raise its efficiency and financial performance.

based on the results of the study, some recommendations were made: it is better for the sonatrach company-Tebessa-to follow strategies and plans to develop investment in human capital and to discuss ways to improve and develop it because of its expected effects on the company's value and financial performance.
