Job performance is a requirement and goal for every organization, whether public or private, as it indicates how well an employee performs their job and the final outcome of their work.

however, this performance may be affected by several factors related to the organization, job, or the employee themselves.

one of the factors that affect job performance is what is known as professional ethics, which express the values and principles that define acceptable and appropriate behavior, which should be followed when practicing a certain profession.

with this in mind, this study aims to analyze the impact of adherence to professional ethics on job performance, while also addressing one of the factors that may affect adherence to professional ethics, which is transformational leadership.

the study sample included 39 administrative employees from the university of Laghouat.

the following results were obtained there is a medium and direct relationship between the practice of transformational leadership and adherence to professional ethics among the study sample.
