The aim of the current research is to identify the relationship between perceived social support and social competence and the differences between males and females in both perceived social support and social competence, and to examine the possibility of predicting social competence from the dimensions of social support, and social competence was measured using the Arabized image of the behavior scales (preparation (Kenneth W.

Merrell (2002), and the social support scale (prepared by: Ahmed Abdel-Ghany (2014)), the sample consisted of (60) male and female students with learning difficulties, including (30) males and (30) females, and their ages ranged between (9-11) years from the fourth grade students of the primary stage with learning difficulties.

the results revealed the existence of relationships.

a positive correlation statistically significant between the scores of students with learning difficulties on the social support scale, and their scores on the social competency scale.
