Abstract EN

Through this research paper, we will understand the rules of selection of hadiths, which appear contradictory in the book: Al-Hujjah Ala Ahl Al-Madinah, by the author who is a writer and one of the most known founders of the Hanafi Madhab, the Madhab which is of the most dominant proportions over the centuries.

Understanding the rules of Imam Muhammad bin Al Hassan Ash Shayban for filtering for action with hadiths, we realize that the cause of divergences in Islamic matters is their different methodology, where the necessary results will be the same.

For the research paper to be as complete as possible, we have brought a summary of the author and his book attached, an explanation of the key terminology in the research paper.

Then in the second part of the research, we have brought fourteen rules or elements of the selection of hadiths related to the chain and narrators where the accuracy or consistency of the action with hadiths is disputed, proving each conclusion with concrete examples from the book.

In the second part, we have brought twelve rules or reasons for selecting hadiths related to the text of the hadith.

Through these principles of Imam Muhammad bin Al-Hasan Ash Shayban of selecting hadiths directly, the method of the Hanafi in the science of hadith can result, as Imam Muhammad is one of the three most eminent scholars in the Hanafi Madhhab.

We also conclude that the reason for the divergences among the scholars is the methodology of treatment and harmonization of religious texts!
