Abstract EN

This work examines the influence of corruption on the performance of public secondary schools.

Participant observations carried out in 4 public secondary schools, 20 semi-structured interviews with stakeholders have enabled us to identify manifestations of corruption and the apprehension of this social fact by the interviewees.

Then a questionnaire administered to 246 learners, teachers and administrative staff allowed us to determine the influence of corruption on the performance of these institutions.

This work reveals that corruption has a thwarted influence on the performance of public secondary schools.

This influence is positive when performance is measured in term us of personal orientation and negative when measured by learner satisfaction.

Ce travail s'intéresse àl'influence de la corruption sur la performance des établissements scolaires secondaires publiques.

Des observations participantes menées dans 4 établissements scolaires secondaires publiques, 20 entretiens semi-directifs avec les parties prenantes ont permis d'identifier les manifestations de corruption et l'appréhension de ce fait socialpar les interviewés.

Un questionnaire administré auprès des 246 apprenants, enseignants et personnel administratif a permis d'évaluer l'influence de la corruption sur la performance de ces institutions.

Ce travail révèle que la corruption a une influence contrariée sur la performance des établissements scolaires secondaires publiques.

Cette influence est positive lorsque la performance est mesurée par l'orientation-personnel et négative lorsque la performance est mesurée par la satisfaction des apprenants.
