Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the obstacles to the development of creativity among students of the basic stage in the schools of the university district from the point of view of teachers in Jordan, and to identify the differences in the level of obstacles to the development of creativity due to demographic variables.

The researcher used the descriptive analysis method for its suitability for the purposes of the study, as the study population consisted of all the teachers of the basic stage in the schools of the university district, which numbered (1200) teachers.

The study sample was randomly selected from the study population, which consisted of (175) male and female teachers who work in Loaa'a University Schools.

The data were collected using a well-organized questionnaire as a study tool, which was verified for its validity and reliability.

The study concluded with several results, the most important of which is that the obstacles to the development of creativity among students of the basic stage in the university district schools are of a high level from the teachers' point of view.

Also, it concluded several recommendations, the most important of which is the need to provide an interesting educational environment in which security, safety and stability prevail, working to achieve and develop creativity.
