The world has recently witnessed rapid developments and a qualitative shift that has subjected the world to the need to keep pace with it and adapt to its requirements.

the most important thing imposed by these developments is the transition from simple traditional learning conditions to digital learning in the higher education sector.

through this theoretical article, we aim to shed light on the process of digital learning supported by technology.

these developments have been clearly manifested in the Algerian university, but in light of new strategies that move higher education from monotony to more active, and perhaps more effective and efficient ways that give the student his value and the first researcher for knowledge.

we will rely in this on philosophical analysis in presenting the theoretical content of the article and in order to present a proposal for digital education in the Algerian university based on active learning strategies.
