Abstract EN

The study aimed to examine the impact of academic achievement motivation on students' major satisfaction, to achieve this, the researcher administered the academic achievement motivation scale to a randomly selected sample of 148 undergraduate students from Khamis Miliana university.

the research methodology adopted was descriptive and analytical in nature.

the findings revealed the following: -academic achievement motivation significantly influences students' satisfaction with their academic major, particularly among second-year undergraduate students majoring in guidance and counseling within the department of psychology and educational sciences.

-there are statistically significant differences in academic achievement motivation among second-year undergraduate students majoring in guidance and counseling within the department of psychology and educational sciences.
