in addition to the actions of eastern thieves of looting and robbery, which led to the absence of security and peace among people of different religions and ethnicities during the era of the crusades, even in periods of military peace between Muslims and crusaders.

however, the authorities of the crusader state had a great role in confronting these criminals, and the church and its clergy made many efforts to curb the activity and actions of thieves.
