Following the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020, the Algerian university has had to establish remote teaching across the country.

However, the fundamental partners in this teaching were not prepared in advance.

We are therefore interested in the difficulties encountered in this new context, and more particularly in the didactic relationship.

We ask ourselves the following questions: what are the problems caused by these breaches of the didactic contract, following the introduction of distance learning, and their impact on the introduction of teaching content and on assessment methods? To answer these questions, we addressed a questionnaire to both teachers and students in the French department of Hassiba BENBOUALI University to identify the nature of the obstacles encountered.

The goal of the data analysis is to address the problems caused by these new hybrid teaching situations in the Algerian university context.
