Psychological compatibility is one of the basic and important concepts in psychology and mental health, so many researchers and those interested in the deaf and hard of hearing category and psychology have devoted themselves to studying it, because of its prominent role in the life of the individual, especially on the socia l side and on the side of communication with others and the interaction of the individual with his community And its surrounding environment, and to complement the approach of those who preceded us and researched this aspect and followed in their footsteps, the researcher conducted this study, which aims to shed more light on what the deaf and hard-of-hearing suffer, especially on the psychological and social side, and to learn more about the relationship between the level of psychological adjustment And so cial isolation among students with hearing disabilities, with a sample of (40) male and female students who attended the Al-Amal Center for the Deaf and Hearing Impaired in Beveren.

To achieve the goals of the study, the researcher used the measure of psychological adjustment and the measure of social isolation as a tool for the study.

The researcher also used the comparative correlational approach, as well as a number of methods.

Statistics to answer the questions of the study, which is the arithmetic mean, standard deviation, relative weight, Pearson's correlation coefficient, Alpha Cronbach's stability coefficient, stability coefficient by half-term method and test (T).

The results of the study also resulted in the absence of statistically significant differences in the responses of the study sample on the measure of psychological adjustment, which is attributed to the gender variable (male / female), as well as the presence of statistically significant differences in the responses of the study sample on the measure of social isolation, which is attributed to the gender variable (male/female) in favor of female.
