Abstract EN

This study approaches the feature of vital sorrow in the poetry of Ahmed Dahbour, the modern Palestinian Poet, in a technical objective manner.

It covers the five areas of self, subject, significance, implication, and language.

The introduction reveals our conception of vital sorrow as a private realistic quality that departs the existential and romantic sadness.

Such quality relates to the specific Palestinian revolution and uprising.

This approach adopted reading the text from the inside, taking into consideration the associated external signals that force themselves upon the text now and then.
