تناول هذا البحث أهم المشاكل التي يواجها طلاب الصف السادس الإعدادي في مادة اللغة الإنكليزية و الناجمة عن تطبيق المنهج التخاطبي في تعليم اللغة الأجنبية و يركز البحث على أهمية تعلم لغة التخاطب اليومي في تعلم اللغات الأجنبية حيث إن هناك إجماع من قبل أكثر المتخصصين في مجال التعليم على ضرورة إعطاء أهمية خاصة لهذه الطريقة في تعليم اللغة الأجنبية مع الحاجة إلى عدم إغفال أهمية تدريس اللغة كمجموعة من التراكيب القواعدية التي لا غنى للمتعلم عنها.
و لعل من أبرز هذه المشاكل هو عدم ممارسة المتعلمين للغة التخاطب كون إن الصف هو المكان الوحيد الذي يمارسون فيه استخدام اللغة الأجنبية و إن التطبيقات محدودة و غير حقيقية و يخلص البحث إلى أهمية توزيع هذه المادة اللغوية على ثلاث سنوات دراسية ابتداء من الصف الرابع الإعدادي ثم الخامس و السادس.
كما توصل البحث إلى أهمية الممارسة المستمرة من قبل الدارسين و ذلك من أجل إحكام السيطرة على الصيغ المختلفة المستخدمة في لغة التخاطب كالاعتذار و الاقتراح و تقديم النفس و هذه الممارسة يمكن إن تمتد إلى خارج الصف حيث يستطيع الطالب إن يمارس استخدام اللغة مع زملاءه أو حتى مع نفسه في صيغة مناجاة النفس.
