Abstract EN
Pomegranate peels were extracted by ethyl alcohol.
The phenolic compound contents estimated in peels and ethanolic extract were (480, 920 mg /100 g.) as caffeic acid respectively.
Pomegranate peels extract activated the wheat germination, at low concentrations, by 131% while at high concentrations the wheat germination was inhibited by 66.3% compared to the control.
A reverse relation was also noticed between immersion time and hormonic effect.
