A contrastive study of acronymy in English and Arabic

aims of this research are giving full description of the acronym structure in Finish and in modern standard Arabic, then the comparison between the two \ Z .languages in terms of acronym is drawn.

The procedures followed in this study are describing the structure of the acronym.

After the comparison is made, it is concluded that Arabic does not tend to use the acronyms like English for economic reason and another reason concerning the structure of both English and Arabic.
