تم مسح بكتيريا البولي لدى 140 من المرضى السكري بأنواعه و من مراجعي مركز بحوث أمراض السكري في مستشفى اليرموك التعليمي.
لوحظت أنه هناك زيادة مضطردة في الأحياء البكتيرية لمسببات إلتهاب الجهاز البولي لدى مرضى السكري و خاصة النساء و احتلت البكتيريا الملونة لصبغة كرام السالبة 55.5 % و البكتيريا الملونة كرام الموجبة 28.6 %.
تميزت بكتيريا الإشراكيات القولونية و المكورات و العنقودية الذهبية و المبيضات نسب العزل التالية 20.4 %، 14.3 % و 15.9 % على التوالي.
كما لوحظ أن هنالك انخفاضا في قابلية البلعمة لدى الخلايا البلعمية لمرضى السكري بأنواعه و عند كلا الجنسين، كما لم تؤثر الأحياء البكتيرية أو الفطرية على فعالية البلعمة.
Abstract EN
Bacteriological screening of urine samples taken from 140 patients of diabetes mellitus attending Diabetes Mellitus (DM) Center in the AL-Yarmouk Teaching Hospital was performed.
Bacterial etiogenesis of the urogenital tract infection was significantly increased, especially among women.
Gram negative bacteria represented 55.5% of isolates, whereas gram positive bacteria represented 28.1%.
E coli, S.
aureus and Candida albicans exhibited 20.6, 14.3 and 15.9%, respectively.
Phagocytic activity was decreased in phagocytes of DM patients and in both sexes.
Bacterial, as well as, Candidal infections had no significant influence on the activity of phagocytosis.
