أجريت تجربتان في محطة البحوث الزراعية الواقعة في غور الأردن لدراسة تأثير استبدال تبن الشعير بدريس الفصة في خلطات تسمين حملان العواسي.
في التجربة الأولى استخدم 16 رأسًا من حملان العواسي وزعت عشوائيًا في أربع معاملات تغذوية بمحتوى متساوٍ تقريبًا من الطاقة و النيتروجين مع تغيير نسب دريس الفصة و تبن الشعير على النحو التالي: في المعاملة الأولى استخدم دريس الفصة كمصدر وحيد للألياف بينما في المعاملتين الثانية و الثالثة تم استبدال تبن الشعير بدريس الفصة بشكل جزئي و بنسب مختلفة، أما في المعاملة الرابعة فقد تم استخدام تبن الشعير كمصدر وحيد للألياف، و استغرقت التجربة 17 يومًا لمعرفة معامل هضم: المادة الجافة، المادة العضوية، البروتين الخام، الألياف الخام، المستخلص الأثيري و المستخلص الخالي من النيتروجين.
في التجربة الثانية استخدم 32 من الحملان العواسي بمتوسط وزن ابتدائي تراوح من 31.88 إلى 32.75 كغم، حيث سمنت لمدة 56 يومًا بعد توزيعها عشوائيًا على المعاملات التغذوية المذكورة في الأعلى.
دلت النتائج في التجربة الأولى على أن هضمية المادة الجافة كانت 69.5, 70.9, 70.7و 68.3 % للمعاملات الأربع على التوالي.
و كانت هضمية المواد العضوية 71.7, 74, 73.9 و 69.9 % للمعاملات الأربع على التوالي.
أما هضمية الألياف الخام فقد كانت 47.8, 49.4, 49.3 و 46.5 % للمعاملات الأربع على التوالي.
و من التحليل الإحصائي تبين أن الفروق بين المعاملات لتلك القياسات كانت معنوية (P<0.05), بينما لم تكن هناك فروقات معنوية في هضمية البروتين الخام و المستخلص الخالي من النيتروجين.
عند الاستبدال الكلي في المعاملة الرابعة.
كذلك أخذ معدل الزيادة في الوزن المسار نفسه بدون فروقات معنوية بين المعاملات الأربع.
و لم تسجل صفات الذبيحة و قياسات العضلة العينية أي فروقات معنوية بين المعاملات الأربع.
Abstract EN
Antimicrobials have been widely used to control dirrheal infections in domestic animals.
However, the misuse of these antimicrobials can lead to human health hazards.
The purpose of this research was to evaluate the efficacy of anti-idiotypic antibodies that mimic Escherichia coli K88 antigens in combating diarreal infections in piglets.
Polyclonal anti-idiotypic antibodies (Ab2) were produced in laying hens against several monoclonal (mAb1) and polyclonal (pAb1) antibodies that recognized Escherichia coli K88 fimbrial antigen.
Preliminary evaluation showed that anti-pAb antibodies (Ab2) were superior to anti-mab antibodies.
Therefore, the efficacy of two Ab2 preparations [Ab2 produced against rabbit anti-K88 IgG2a and its F(ab’)2] were evaluated following an intragastric administration to neonatal piglets challenged with E.
coli K88.
Partial protection (62.5 % survival) was observed in the Ab2 treated piglets, while only 12.5 % of control piglets (no-Ab2) survived.
Our results indicate that Ab2 are excellent surrogate antigens for immunization and could also be useful in the control of E.coli infection in piglets.
