Assessement of educational and training needs of gaza strip structural concrete designers

Abstract EN

The objective of this paper is to examine and assess the educational and training needs of Gaza Strip structural concrete designers in order to enhance their performance.

It is anticipated that the outcome of this study will help in establishing training and practical training facilities to meet the qualification requirements.

This study is conducted by means of a survey questionnaire where seventy three questionnaires are randomly distributed to structural concrete designers.

The results of this study indicate that structural designers need training in certain structural analysis and design-related topics.

Based on these findings, recommendations to the Palestinian National Authority (PNA) and the Association of Engineers are presented in this Paper.
