Abstract EN

This study sought to recognize the reality of industry in Tulkarm Governorate from the perspective of traders and businessmen.

To do so, the problems facing industry were identified.

A twenty-six item questionnaire, focusing on four aspects, was employed.

(150) questionnaires were distributed.

(150) questionnaires, by (77%) were returned.

The data was analyzed by (spss) enhancing mean, slandered deviation and percentages.

Respectively, the findings came as follows, according to the degree of problems posed.

In the first place, came the political and security situation which posed a very serious problem, by (81.88 %).

Then came, in the second place, the scope of public services which posed a serious problem, by (74.99%).

The economic situation occupied the third place, by (71.73 %).

As for the scope of effectiveness and experience, it had the least influential effect on industry, by (67.43 %).
