Abstract EN

This paper is on the use of colours in Ezeldeen Almanasrah the poetry of; it first outlined the use of colours in Arabic poetry and the attention it received from old Arab critics.

The paper then described the use of colours in Almanasrah poetry and number of individual colours.

It stressed the uniqueness of green colour and its precedence over other colors employed by the Poet.

It highlighted the role of environment and the mental state behind this phenomenon.

The paper then demonstrated the mixture and overlap of colours and the Poet’s mechanism in the use of the technique in a numerous and integrated methodology.

The conclusion summed up the Poet’s method of the use of colours and its impact on creating the poetic image and its distinctive and aesthetic aspect.
