نبات الحبة السوداء من النباتات المزهرة حوليا و تستخدم تقليديا في الطبخ و لأغراض علاجيه طبية كعلاج طبيعي لكثير من الأمراض مثل الربو، الصداع المزمن، أوجاع الطمث، الشلل، ضغط الدم و مشاكل الجهاز الهضمي.
و هناك اعتقاد إسلامي مرجعه الحديث النبوي الشريف باعتبار الحبة السوداء دواء لكل داء إلا السام و هو الموت.
و قد نشرت أبحاث كثيرة في الآونة الأخيرة عن التأثير المضاد لنمو البكتيريا لهذه الحبة.
في هذه البحث تم استخدام طريقة الانتشار القرصي الورقي لفحص التأثير المضاد لنمو فطر المبيضات و ذلك باستخدام زيت الحبة السوداء من مصدرين مختلفين (أثيوبيا و السعودية).
و قد أظهرت هذه الطريقة التأثير التثبيطي الواضح و بتركيز مختلف لهذا الزيت.
هذا التأثير تم تأكيده بمقارنته مع المعاير الايجابي و هو الدواء المعروف المضاد للفطر (نيستاتين).
Abstract EN
Objective : To investigate the antifungal activity of Nigella sativa oil from Saudi Arabia and Ethiopia against the growth of Candida albicans.
Methodology : The study was carried out in microbiology laboratory using the modified paper disc- diffusion method.
Nigella Sativa oil (NSO) from Saudi Arabia (NSOS) and Ethiopia (NSOE) was purchased from the market.
Nystatin was used as positive control.
Results : In vitro, NSOE showed greater inhibitory action than NSOS against the growth of Candida albicans.
The effect was directly proportional to the volume concentration used.
The effect was clear and comparable with the positive control Nystatin.
Conclusion : Oil of Nigella sativa showed obvious antifungal activity in vitro against the growth of Candida albicans.
