English Abstract
In this thesis we studied an algorithmic method for investigating transformation properties of discrete Pain eve equations.
This method yields explicit transformations which relates the solutions of a given discrete Pain eve equation with either the solutions of another discrete Pain eve equation or the same equation but with di® erent value of parameters.
We applied the method to the second, third, fourth, and ¯fth discrete Pain eve equation. Moreover we studied special solutions of these equations.
Some of these special solutions are given in terms of discrete analogue of the classical special functions.
