English Abstract
-This study aimed at establishing a Jordanian perspective of shopping centers attractiveness through identifying the most important factors that have a significant effect on the attractiveness of shopping centers in the Jordanian context.
Data were collected using a questionnaire consisted of 48 “likert” type items from a convenience sample of 573 respondents.
Independent Sample t-test, one-way ANOVA and Regression analysis were performed to test the stated hypotheses.
Some factors of the proposed model namely merchandise, atmospherics, entertainment, and security were found to have a significant effect on Jordanian consumer's perception towards shopping centers attractiveness.
Furthermore, findings indicated that there were significant differences between Jordanian consumers' perception towards shopping centers attractiveness in relation to demographic characteristics, with the exception of gender.
This study gives shopping centers' management a better understanding of the factors influencing the consumers' perception towards shopping centers attractiveness in Jordanian context.
