English Abstract
The objectives of this work are to study the complexation of prednisone with cyclodextrins and to get data about it, such as; its phase solubility diagram, changing in thermodynamic parameters, modeling …etc., and improving the solubility of prednisone.
Techniques used are constructing a phase solubility diagram, calculating thermodynamic parameters, through taking excess of drug versus different concentrations of cyclodextrins on different temperatures at equilibrium; prednisone and cyclodextrins; α, β, γ and HP-β-cyclodextrins, in buffer solutions of 0.1 M phosphoric acid and 0.1 M sodium chloride Neutralized to pH 7.1 by sodium hydroxide using double distilled water, on different temperatures : 25, 30, 37, 41, 45 o C for β-cyclodextrin and 25 o C for the others, using different concentrations of the cyclodextrins in every study.
constructing a model for Hyper hem 7.52 was done for calculating the best situations for complexes and theoretical calculations (thermodynamic parameters), then comparing theoretical and experimental results.
Complexes formations are studied by UV-Vis spectrophotometry, and with differential scanning calorimetry DSC to insure of their formation.
Phase solubility diagrams were plotted for every cyclodextrin type with prednisone, and so for each study was determined, and also solubility constants were calculated.

The study showed that formation of complexes between prednisone and cyclodextrin is driven by enthalpy factors.
Formation of complexes is favorable, calculations and simulation computer program approved that (Hyper Chem).
The solubility of prednisone increased by complexation on all temperatures study deal with, as an example ; at 37oC the concentration of prednisone before addition of β-CD was 0.71 mM, and after addition of β-CD improved to be 3.10 mM.
