English Abstract

In this thesis, we study a special kind of generalized inverses of an m× n matrix, namely weighted Moore-Penrose inverses, which is viewed as a generalized Moore-Penrose and usual inverses together with some important properties and expressions. We present exact and iterative methods for computing the weighted Moore-Penrose inverses for any rectangular matrix. Finally, we show how to apply several algorithms for solving some singular matrix equations by using these inverses, and some numerical examples are also given.
