المشكلة : إن متلازمة متعدد الكيسات المبيضية يتميز بانعدام الاباضة و تكوين بويضات غير ناضجة مما يؤدي إلى عدم انتظام الدورة, ارتفاع الهرمون الذكري (الاندروجيني), زيادة الشعر و بالتالي العقم.
أهداف الدراسة : تهدف هذه الدراسة لإظهار التغييرات في الحالة التأكسدية لدى المصابات بمتلازمة متعدد الكيسات المبيضية بالنسبة إلى التغيير في الفيتامينات المضادة للتأكسد في مصل الدم و هي فيتامين أ, ج, ي.
المرضى و طرق العمل : بعد التشخيص السريري لثلاثين امرأة مصابة بمتلازمة متعدد الكيسات المبيضية و قياس الهرمونات التالية في مصل الدم لديهم و هي الهرمون المحفز للجريبات, الهرمون اللوتييني, هرمون الحليب و هرمون التستوستيرون (شحمون الخصوبة) و كذلك تقدير مستوى فيتامين أ, ج, ي في الأمصال.
تم تقسيم المرضى إلى ثلاث مجاميع حسب تغيير الهرمونات لديهم و مقارنة كل مجموعة مع عشر نساء يبدين سليمات و ليس لديهن مشاكل في العقم.
المجموعة الأولى تضم عشر نساء لديهن زيادة في هرمون الحليب.
المجموعة الثانية تضم نساء لديهن نسبة الهرمون اللوتييني إلى الهرمون المحفز للحويصلات أكثر من واحد. المجموعة الثالثة تضم نساء لديهن تلك النسبة أقل من واحد.
النتائج : كل المجاميع أظهرت انخفاض معنوي ملحوظ في تراكيز الفيتامينات بالمقارنة مع النساء اللاتي لا يعانين من مشاكل العقم مما يظهر أن التغييرات الهرمونية المختلفة تزيد من الجهد التأكسدي و بميكانيكيات مختلفة.
الاستنتاج : أن المجاميع المختلفة لمتلازمة متعدد الكيسات المبيضية يجمعها انخفاض في الفيتامينات المضادة للأكسدة في مصل الدم (فيتامين أ, ي, ج) بالمقارنة مع النساء اللاتي لا يعانين من مشاكل العقم.
Abstract EN
Background: Polycystic ovary syndrome Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome is a disease characterized by unovulation and formation of immature follicles result in menstrual irregularities, hyperandrogenemia, hirsutism and infertility.
Objectives: This study was aimed to show the changes in oxidative status in these women, in accordance to changes in serum antioxidant vitamins A,C,E.
Subjects and methods: Thirty Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome women included in this study, their serum FSH, LH, Prolactin and testosterone hormones were measured .also serum concentrations of vitamin A, C, E were determined.These women are divided into three groups according to their hormonal changes.
Group (1) involves women with high level of prolactin.
Group (2) involves women with LH/FSH ratio more than one.
Group (3) involves women with LH/FSH ratio less than one.
All groups are compared with 10 apparently healthy fertile women.
Results: All groups show significant decrease in serum concentrations of vitamins in compare with control women .This indicates different hormonal changes increase oxidative stress in Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome women by different mechanisms.
Conclusion: Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome produce significant reductions in serum antioxidant vitamins A, C&E when compared with control.
