Diversification of feedback sources (practicum supervision)‎ and its effect on the performance of English language student-teachers

Abstract EN

This study aimed at investigating the effectiveness of feedback sources (practicum supervision) on the performance of English language trainee-teachers through adepting three models of practicum supervision and practicum teaching.

The population includes all fourth year English trainee-teachers in the Dept.

of English \ College of Education for the academic year 2007 \ 2008.

A sample of (48) male and female students were chosen randomly and equally distributed among three groups each represents a definite method of practicum supervision.

The results showed that the multi-supervisors and multi-cooperating teachers method was the best one to improve performance of English trainee-teachers in their teaching.

In the light of findings, the researchers recommend the (MSMCT model) to the practicum teaching period.
