استقصت الدراسة أسماء الإشارة في القرآن الكريم و فضلى الوسائل الكفيلة بترجمتها إلى اللغة الإنكليزية.
فدرست الجوانب النحوية و الدلالية لأسماء الإشارة في اللغتين الإنكليزية و اللعربية بغية الوصول لى معرفة الاختلافات بينهما.
فقد تبين أن الترجمة الحرفية هي الطريقة الأنجح لترجمة أسماء الإشارة من القرآن الكريم إلى اللغة الإنكليزية, و أن معرفة الجوانب النحوية و الدلالية لأسماء الإشارة مطلب أساسي لترجمتها.
