Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the practice degree of principals in Bani Obeid Directorate of Education for systems thinking from the perspective of teachers.

To achieve the objectives of the study, the researchers used the analytical descriptive methodology, and they developed a questionnaire consisting of (36) items distributed on three areas: Thinking about the self, thinking about the others and thinking about the work.

The questionnaire was applied at stratified random sample consisted of (330) teachers.

The results showed that : 1) The practice degree of principals in Bani Obeid Directorate of Education for systems thinking from the perspective of teachers was moderate and reached (3.402) which corresponds to a rate of (68.04 %).

2) There were statistically significant differences at (α = 0.05) due to the variables gender, level of education and experience, in the estimates of teachers to the practice degree of principals for systems thinking, and the differences were in favor of male teachers, secondary schools and the owners of experience ( over 12 years), but there weren't any differences due to the variable of qualification.

Finally, researchers made several recommendations including: Follow-up principals and urged them to stay away from the practices of authoritarian administrative style and replacing it as much as possible participatory democratic style, and update the control and supervision mechanisms to identify the extent to which the principals achieve the educational objectives and transferred it as practices among the students.
