سنبرهن أن لدال الجبرية الثنوية – من فئة الجبريات المصاحبة إلى فئة الجبريات – قرينا أيسر، حتى لو لم تكن حلقة الأساس حقلا بل كانت أي حلقة إبدالية تحتوي على عنصر الوحدة.

أثبتت هذه المبرهنة كنتيجة لمبرهنة أعم عن الاقترانات بين فئة أشباه الزمر المصاحبة و فئة أشباه الزمر المعرفة في فئات شبه زمرية متماثلة مناسبة.

Abstract EN

It is shown that the dual algebra functor from coalgebras to algebras has a left adjoint even if the base ring is not a field but an arbitrary commutative ring with 1.

This result is proved as a corollary to a more general theorem on adjunctions between comonoids and monoids over suitable symmetric monoidal categories.
