English Abstract
-The objective of this research is to discuss expert system as the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in medical diagnosis. This system is able to propose diagnosis based on patient's given symptoms, sign and test results-if possible - to prove or exclude them.
The systems explains the diseases by entering the attributes and receive the entire information associate with it.
The testing gives good results and high performance, the fact by which we can judge that the system can be used in diagnosing respiratory system diseases. Finally, the knowledge and rules of respiratory diseases with testing sample of prototype system by symptoms where listed and their result were obtained.
