يهدف هذا البحث إلى بيان أهمية استخدام المعجم ثنائي اللغة في عملية الترجمة المحترفة و إلى تقديم حلول عملية لجعل المعجم أداة مفيدة للمترجم.
لا يخفى على المختصين اليوم أن الترجمة أصبحت حقلا علم، متخصصا و أن المترجم قد غدا يتمتع يقام المحترف الراقي على مستوى العالم، و لكل متخصص محترف في أي علم من العلوم أو فن من الفنون أدوات تعينه على أداء مهمته.
و لكن على الرغم من أن المعجم ثنائي اللغة يسمى المعجم المترجم إلا أنه في الوضع الحالي لا يمثل أداة ناجحة يكن للمترجم المحترف أن يستفيد منها في عملية الترجمة، و ذلك لقصوره في عدد من الجوانب العجمية التي يكن تحسينها ليصبح المعجم أداة عملية في يد المترجم.
من أهم ما خرج به الباحث هنا استحداث نوع جديد من المعاجم سماه معجم المترجم و هو يختلف في كثير من الصفات المعجمية عن المعجم العادي، و ذلك في أنه يتحلى بمميزات تتناسب مع احتياجات المترجم في مهنته و التي من أهمها أنه يقدم للمترجم تراجم جاهزة للإدخال في النص المترجم - دون عناء المترجم في البحث عنها، و أنه يحتوي على كل الداخل اللغوية التي يكن أن يستخدمها المترجم، و أن مداخله مترتبة بطريقة توفر على المترجم الكثير من الوقت الذي يقضيه عادة في البحث عن مرادفات لغوية في عدة مصادر.
بالإضافة إلى أن البحث يقدم مميزات جديدة لمعجم المترجم فهو يقدم نظرة جديدة في تحديد المرادف الترجمي، و هو الذي يضعه المترجم أخيرا في نصه المترجم.
Abstract EN
As translation is becoming an international field of study fluctuating between art and science, translators are becoming more highly professional people.
Like any other group of professionals, translators need their own practical, professional tools to help them produce .better work.
In this paper, I am making a loud and urgent call for the improvement of the translator's most important tool, the interlingual dictionary.
In short, linguists and lexicographers should begin to design a translator's dictionary - one that provides ready insertable equivalents, is all-inclusive and is organised in a way that saves the translator much of the time and money usually wasted on reference during the process of trans lating.
This paper attempts to discuss certain relevant aspects of a translator's dictionary (TO).
I would like to concentrate on the AETO's lexicographic properties and layout, in addition to presenting a novel view of the concept of the translational equivalent (TE).
