لقد أجريت هذه التجربة لتقييم فعالية غذاء الربيان المصنع محليا بالمقارنة مع الغذاء المستورد على نمو و بقاء نوعين من ربيان عائلة البينيدى، بينيس إنديكس و بينيس سيميسالكاتس.
لم تظهر الدراسة أي فروقات معنوية على نمو الربيان سواء بين الربيان من نفس النوع أو بين النوعين المختلفين.
كان معدل نسبة البقاء الربيان بينيس إنديكس أعلى عندما تمت تغذيته بالغذاء المستورد (P < 0.05)، و في المقابل كان معدل نسبة بقاء الربيان بينيس سيميسالكاتس ضعيفا.
Abstract EN
An experiment was conducted to evaluate the performance of feed manufactured locally versus imported shrimp feed on the growth and survival of Penaeus indicus and Penaeus semisulcatus.
No significant difference was found on the growth of the penaeid shrimps (within species or between the two species).
The survival of Penaeus indicus was significantly higher when fed with imported feed (P < 0.05).
On the other hand, Penaeus semisulcatus had a poor survival rate.
