when supplied singly in the form of sulfate salts to Czabek Dox's Agar medium.

Folic acid was also added.

as a growth substance, at different concentrations to the media.

previously supplied singly with the tested heavy metals.

for detection of their recove ry effect on the fungal growth.

especially when suffering from their toxicity.

The obtained results revealed variable responses to these metals.

i.e.

iron inhibited the fungal growth.

but the latter was stimulated hy the addition of folic acid.

Silver inhibited the fungal growth.

and the latter don't turnover by the addition of fol ic acid.

Aluminum stimulated the fungal growth except at high concentrations CWO-400 ug/ml).

and the addition of folic acid don't enhance the fungal growth.

Manganese inhibited the fungal growth.

and the latter was renewed by the addition of folic acid.

Cobalt & copper inhihited the fungal growth when supplied singly.

or in combine with folic acid.

Zinc inhibited the fungal growth.

and the latter was stimulated by the addition of folic acid, except at high concentrations ( 100-400 ug/ml), Nickel inhibited the fungal growth when supplied singly and in combine with fo lic acid at concen trations of 50-400 ug/rnl
