أجريت هذه الدراسة على 30 مريض يعانون من آلام في الكتف لمدة شهرين في وجود أو عدم وجوود نقص في مدى قوس الحركة للكتف.
تم عمل تصوير بالموجات فوق الصوتية على الكتف لكل المرضى و قد وجد أن هناك آفات بالأنسجة الرخوية في العضلات المديرة للكتف عن طريق الموجات فوق الصوتية في عدد 28 حالة من مجموع 30 حالة تمثل نسبة 97 % لم تظهر بالأشعة السينية و التشخيص الإكلينيكي المبدئي.
و من هنا نستخلص أن الموجات فوق الصوتية لها دور هام في تشخيص آفات الأنسجة الرخوية للعضلات المديرة للكتف.
Abstract EN
Thirty-patients who suffered from shoulder pain with or without limitation of movement of the glenohumeral joint for more than two months’ duration were enrolled in this study.
Ultrasonographic imaging for both shoulders was done for every patient.
The results revealed that there was soft tissue pathology in 28 out of the 30 patients examined (97%) that could not be detected clinically or by X-rays.
We concluded that ultrasonographic imaging was valuable, showing great accuracy in assessing pathological soft tissue lesions of the shoulder.
