على الرغم من وصف مرض تسمم الحمل أو (ما قبل الارتجاع الحملي) منذ مئات السنين، فإنه لا يزال من الأسباب الرئيسية لوفيات الأمهات و الأجنة.
و قد أجري هذا البحث لمعرفة القيمة الإكلينيكية لقياس مستوى الثرميوموديولين و مضاد الثرومبين3 في حوالي ستون سيدة حامل منهم أربعون يعانين من تسمم حمل و عشرون سيدة حامل كعينة ضابطة.
و قد استخلص البحث أهمية قياس الثرميوموديولين 3 في مصل الأمهات العوامل التي تشير إلى شدة مرض ما قبل الارتجاع الحملي (تسمم الحمل) و أيضا في التنبؤ بقصور نمو الجنين بالرحم و ذلك بالدلالات الإحصائية التي أثبتها البحث.
و ننصح بإجراء دراسات أخرى لتقييم دورة في التنبؤ بحدوث المضاعفات المترتبة عليه و بالتالي يمكن تجنبها.
Abstract EN
Objective: To study the changes of two natural anticoagulant factors, circulating thrombomodulin [TM] and anti thrombin 111 [AT 111] activity, in both maternal and fetal cord plasma of women with pre-eclampsia and its correlation with postpartum regression of pre-eclampsia.
Methods: Venous plasma samples were collected from 60 pregnant women; 20 women with severe pre-eclampsia; 20 women with mild pre-eclampsia and 20 normotensive healthy women with singleton pregnancies in the third trimester.
Plasma levels of thrombomodulin and antithrombin 111 in the antepartum and postpartum periods were measured by an enzyme-linked immunoassay with momoclonal antibodies.
