English Abstract

This study aimed at examining the factors affecting fan's attendance of sport events in stadiums in Jordan, and it has divided the independent factors into two parts : demographic factors including (gender, age, income, preferred sport game), and the second part of the independent factors is the emotional, economical and promotional factors Including (belongingness, stadium facilities, financial aspects, entertainment, incentives and promotion).

The study consisted of five chapters, as the first chapter is the study introduction, and the second chapter is the literature review, upon which the study has built its theoretical framework, also came the third chapter explaining the methods and the procedures of the study, specifically in the construction of study tool (questionnaire), which consisted of three parts, then the statistical analysis, and the testing of the hypotheses the study came in the fourth chapter, so as to be discussed in chapter five, in which the researcher suggested the recommendations based on the results of the study.

The results of the study came in line with the Jordanian society, as they refer to the importance of the gender, age, income and preferred sport game variables in the process of attending sport events in Jordan, while the trends toward the emotional, economical and promotional factors came positive towards understanding and improving the concept of belongingness, and towards understanding the importance of good stadium facilities for the increasing processes of fan's attendance sport events in Jordan, the results also refer to the importance of the financial aspects in the process of attendance of sport events in Jordan, and it indicates that with more incentive features there will be more attendees, and finally the results highlighted the importance of the promotion in the process of attendance of sport events in Jordan.
