English Abstract
In this thesis, a reliable algorithm called the multi-step homotopy analysis method based on an adaptation of the standard homotopy analysis method have been presented to solve nonlinear fractional differential equation.
The proposed scheme is only a simple modification of the homotopy analysis method, in which it is treated as an algorithm in a sequence of small intervals (i.e.
time step) for finding accurate approximate solutions to the corresponding problems.
Several illustrative examples have been given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the present method.
Numerical comparisons between the multi-step homotopy analysis method and the exact solution in the case of integer-order derivatives reveal that the technique is a promising tool for nonlinear problems of integer and fractional order.
