Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the attitudes level of school headmasters towards : learning disabilities programs in resources rooms in their schools, also this study aimed to recognize the effect of the variables : (headmaster sex, school type) on the headmasters’ attitudes.

The current study followed a descriptive statistical approach.

The sample of the study consists of (42) male and female headmasters selected intentionally.

The attitudes scale was developed by the researcher, it consists of (40) items distributed into (4) dimensions : the importance of resources room, the teacher of resources room, services provided by resources room, and the cooperation with teacher of resources room.

The results indicated that the attitudes level of school headmasters towards learning disabilities programs in resources rooms on the total scale was within high level, and the attitudes towards the dimension “the importance of resources room” in the first grade, and “the teacher of resources room” in the second grade and both in high level, and the attitudes towards both dimensions “services provided by resources room”, and “the cooperation with teacher of resources room”, were in third and fourth grade consequently, in medium level.

The results indicated that there was a significant statistical difference for attitudes’ level attributed to the sex variable towards female, and school type towards special schools.
