English Abstract
-In this thesis we study skew cyclic codes over nite rings.
The thesis consists of three parts: In the rst part we de ne skew cyclic codes, determine them over nite rings, and nd the relationships between skew cyclic codes and quasi cyclic codes.
In the second part we study self-dual skew codes over nite ring.
In the third part, we use ideal -constacyclic codes to de ne skew constacyclic codes over nite chain rings of the form Fpm + uFpm, where p is a prime number with u2 = 0, and skew constacyclic codes over nite non-chain rings of the form Fp + vFp, where p is a prime number with v2 = v.
