English Abstract

The present study aims to explore the attitudes of the seventh grade English language teachers and learners towards the cultural content of Action-Pack7 in Madaba public-schools.

It also aims to investigate the cultural content manifested in Action-Pack7 in the both Student's Book and Activity Book.

In this study, the researcher uses a set of criteria to measure the cultural content.

He also developed two 5-point scale (Strongly Agree, Agree, Neutral, Disagree and Strongly Disagree) to measure the attitudes of the teachers and the learners.

The source of study is of Action-Pack7 (students' book and activity book) and the sample of the study consists of 44 teachers and a random sample of 210 students in Madaba public-schools during the first semester of the academic year 2014/ 2015.

The findings of the study assert the existence of the foreign culture inclusion in Action-Pack7 (Activity Book and the Students' Book).

The findings also show that teachers and students nearly share the same attitudes toward the cultural inclusion and preferred the Arab-Islamic inclusion over the foreign cultures.
