This study was undertaken to determine the contamination level of aflatoxin in a total of (10) type of dried fruit and (4) concentrated fruits samples from Dore, Heran and Shaqlawa cities.
(Erbil –Iraq) Fungi were isolated from the samples during this study by direct plate method, sterile filter method, Dilution plate method and Streaking plate method on Czapek Dox Agar media (CDA).
The results in the present study shows that, Aspergillus niger , was the higher isolated fungus from dried fruit samples, Natural occurrence of aflatoxin by using ELISA method also was done for (5) selected samples ,the results show high level of aflatoxin in the samples.
