سعت هذه الدراسة إلى مراجعة الأدبيات الخاصة ببرامج تعليم اللغة العربية، و تحليل و مناقشة أهم التحديات التي تواجهها.
قدمت الدراسة نبذة تاريخية عن برامج اللغة العربية في العالم، و وصف موجز عن طبيعة اللغة العربية و خصائصها التي يمكن أن تشكل صعوبات و تحديات لمتعلمي اللغة العربية من الناطقين بغيرها و التي ينبغي مراعاة تذليلها في البرامج المقدمة إليهم.
كما ناقشت هذه الدراسة قضية الازدواجية اللغوية في اللغة العربية و أساليب التعامل معها في برامج تعليم اللغة العربية المقدمة لهذه الفئة من الطلبة.
و أخيرا تناقش الورقة نقاط الضعف في بعض برامج اللغة العربية و المتمثلة في عدم وجود أهداف واضحة لتعليم اللغة العربية للناطقين بغيرها، و قلة المعلمين المؤهلين لتعليمها لهذه الفئة، و ضعف الاهتمام بالطرائق و الوسائل و الأساليب الحديثة في التعليم، و قلة الاهتمام بالجانب الثقافي في برامج اللغة العربية.
Abstract EN
The purpose of this study was to review the reported literature regarding Arabic language programmes.
It gives an overview of the historical background of Teaching Arabic as a Foreign Language (TAFL) programmes.
It also provided a brief description of the Arabic language and its characteristics, and how they might cause some difficulties.
Specifically, the diglossic phenomenon in Arabic programmes and how Arabic programmes deal with diglossia was discussed.
Pedagogical factors, such as the lack of clearly articulated objectives in TAFL, the lack of coordination between Arabic programmes, the lack of experienced and qualified teachers, the shortage of materials and resources and insufficient presentation of Arab culture in (TAFL) programmes were also discussed.
