English Abstract

This study aims to identify the effects of the training on organizational commitment on telecommunication firm’s employees in Jordan.

Training definition was adopted here that addresses the value and the content while the organizational commitment elements are affective, continuance and normative commitment.

A questionnaire in this regard was carried out.

A questionnaire was adapted and developed to collect the data out of the sample respondents, the study population consists of telecommunication firm in Jordan which is Orange firm.

The total number of respondents was 272.

Statistical Package of Social Sciences was used(SPSS.V.17) in analyzing the collected data.

The study found a set of results were considerable and hypotheses were tested which approved there is a statistically significant effect of training on organizational commitment except affective commitment with a high priority.

The study found that there is an incomplete performance of the telecommunication firm’s employees related to different reasons as the over all training was reported in a moderate degree according to the ratings of the study sample (71.60 %).

the study explored that training affects the overall organizational commitment and the related components (affective, continuance and normative) commitments.

The study recommended to give more intention to training process to preserve the effects of training for the benefits of organizational commitment is a serious matter in Human Resources Management.
