Abstract EN

This study sheds light on the phenomenon of using the Prophetic Hadith in the poetry of Ibn Sahl Al-Israeli, and intertextuality as a modern phenomenon of criticism with ancient roots.

This research reveals elements of religious influence in "Ibn Sahl's collection of poetry", and the techniques of religious intertextuality the poet uses.

It also indicates his ability to reform missing texts in new images in the different themes in his poetry: such as eulogy, love, and elegy, etc.

So, this research is based on deducing and retrieving intertextuality models of Prophetic Hadith in his poetry.

It investigates their role in serving the poet's experience and their ability to excite, influence, and express the poet's intended meanings.
