Abstract EN

E-learning community is designed to provide more efficient service than what is provided at the present time by any of the available computer assisted tutoring, or learning management systems.

The semantic Web technology has the potential to be applied in various fields.

E-learning is one of the areas that could benefit from this new technology on the Internet.

In this paper, we design Semantic Web technology to achieve advanced learning scenarios.

First we will see the characteristics of elearning and the potential uses of Semantic Web technology stack in the overview, the network integration of e-learning and semantic web tehnology.

We will see the advantages of using ontology to describe the learning materials.

Also, we provide a Semantic Web portal based e-learning architecture with some related work.
